I'm not really a new member on here but I didn't post much at all abit more of a lurker viewing progress threads etc however I thought I'd post up the progress of my Fast Ford.
It's a 2007 Focus ST, I have owned it since 6 months old with a 3 yr gap in my ownership I sold it to my mum as I quit my long term job at the time to change my direction in life and went to uni.
Anyway enough waffling on, pictures are why people pop in to threads and I have a few

.
The car has always been known as 'Tango' lot's of imagination went in to that I know lol..
I don't have many pictures from back when she was stock unfortunately just the one decent one from before I started to ruin it with modifications, although as you can see I'd already added a DMB custom badge lol.
From then on, I added a Dreamscience DSCI map, a mongoose decat back, K+N panel and a Baileys DV26 dump valve. From these modifications the car made 280.3 bhp (it's all about the .3) and 314 lbft. We all know by now the RR is a lottery, however on the day it was one of the highest yielding making more than cars with quite a few more bolt ons.
A video of the day,
As you may notice some nice blueish tinged smoke at the end of the run. Well for those familiar with the ST won't be surprised when I mention the fact that shortly after this, the car cracked a liner. Probably did it on that RR lol.
As the car was basically new at the time it was covered under Ford warranty. Yay! certainly yay for me as the garage that undertook the job (Gates) said they were going to replace a lot more than necessary due to the fact it was a big job and they could make more with bread and butter jobs. So free stuffs.
They apparently replaced the Turbo, block, clutch and pretty much everything the bill coming to 13.5k. Ouch. As the stuff was replaced under warranty it didn't need to go against the car I was informed.
So since then some 7 years the car has just crossed the 52K mark. It's been running the same setup since and been fine. Interestingly, I never got the block mod done despite my brush with the liner issue and it's been fine since.
SO after my essay, I'll start with the latest on the car.
Firstly a set of decent mats, que the Mountune mats, they look nice.
After I decided it was time to get that gear change to have that more precise sporty feel to it;
Only one thing for the job, a Bryshifter
I also fitted one to my mates ST at the time hense two
Fitted;
Next up was to add a more aggressive look to the rear, which came in form of an RS parts diffuser;
Followed by some cleanage;
I waited for as long as I could for the weather to improve enough to fit it but the weather was relentless for months on end so I fitted it in the pooring rain one evening late at night lol! Note I added my private plate by this time.
This proved to be a bugger and it would not take hold, obviously to do with the temperature and the fact it was raining. Then one day, the sun came out!
While it was taking hold I found some Mushrooms and took a picture of them;
Later that evening... it was on
I then got bored of the stock sounding exhaust and thought I would go to the other extreme and got myself a Turbo decat back Cobra sport Venom system.
Holy moly.
Stage 8 dp bolts
As you can see, it's a straight through non res all the way back to the turbo with the tiniest excuse of a mid section box.
Picture of it boxed;
Annoyingly they sent me the wrong tips with my order, which were later replaced.
Pic of the car up to this stage;
Time for fitting at Autospecialists;
While it was in I had the torque mount upgraded and some Denso irridium plugs in place.
Is it noisy? yes.
After this I got a TurboSmart recirc valve fitted;
Next I went for a Pumaspeed plenum;
Better picture of the exhaust etc after some cleanage;
Next on the agender and oddly one of those things that should have been done from day one was an upgraded larger intercooler.
I went for an Airtec stage 2 cooler with RS scoops;
Shortly after this my front under tray flew off on the M25 lol. It can be clearly seen in the picture below.
Next I went for a AS CAIS;
And a AS ecu holder but in satin black;
Somehow I can't seem to find any pictures previously of my Zunsport grills and plate relocation so you may see it from here on in lol!
Plenum and grills;
After this I decided to clean the bay;
After;
Next the AS kit arrived;
Then promptly fitted;
Finally, concluding up to date progress I purchased a token sticker to complete the induction kit lol;

And a picture of how she stands to date;
Cleaned and gave her some protection this weekend - notice my poor front bumper?
Factory fresh orange peel lol! Ford really went with the orange theme...
Spec;
Estimated 300+ bhp and big torque no RR since it was half the spec lol.

My next plans engine/ power wise are to get block mod for peace of mind. Some RS 440cc injectors, larger boost pipes, an elevate 3" cross over pipe and run either Revo software or continue with Dreamscience and go Mod XRS.
Chassis wise, I want Bilstein suspension and K sport 8 pots and a M factory diff. I also need a new clutch as it slips due to the torque it's now pushing out but I'm not sure if I'm going to go for an RS one due to people still finding they slip.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed it's hard to summarise what was a thread of progress in to one legible page lol!
