Depends how wide you want the front be really.

On my escort mk2 I have sierra coilovers-hubs-tca's-crossmember. I got a set of sierra adjustable tca's, so I could remove some of the massive camber the whole wider track set up created, and had to open the top mount holes towards the exterior of the car. The wheels fit exactly inside the fiberglass arches, but with no wheel spacers.

The good thing is that without the use of spacers, the steering is lighter than that of other escorts that had 5 cm spacers on each side.
