I thought rose joints should not be lubricated, the surfaces were designed not to be and grease encourages dirt to become a grinding paste. I could be wrong though
I work on a fair few tippers and skip loaders with smaller rose joints on the back for the sheet and tipping gear. They all have grease nipple types.
