not entirely sure if my pistons have valve pockets (rebuild was done 12 yrs ago), although i do know that my engine builder fitted a thicker headgasket (for another reason due to incompetence) so without measuring, i believe valve clearance should be ok.

would i benefit though by going for a higher lift/duration exhaust cam, or is it not really worth it?
