They build great cars. You really comparing what Ford make to Mercedes or Audi. I have both & the Germans cars are superior in almost all respects.
I can honestly say my experience with German cars (except one) over the years has been bad. I use to work for bmw and saw more warranty work then paying customers
But I did own a bmw e28 5 series which was a great car. But personally I think German manufactures today are trading on past times.
You know where you stand with a ford... You know it's not pretending to be a quality product
