Got my hands on some more Gp A flat face mo's and picked them up from my folks at the weekend. Was a good find on Gumtree! 5 in total and two had had repairs, which I knew about. I'll get them checked out for straightness etc then get them powder coated. Hoping I'll have four straight, air-tight ones!
I'll run the track day tires on these and keep the others for road & wet track etc.
Kyle and Ashley are now off to the 'States today (hence the mission to finish the car on Sunday) on a LS engine buying mission for their business so whilst I'm playing the waiting game I've been researching my clutch issue. I'm beginning to suspect the clutch slave cylinder more than the master cylinder. Given the whole TKO & (old) Ford V8 package the kit car cobra forums are a useful reference & it seems lots of folk are having trouble with this little fella;
So as to not waste time I'll order a new seal & spring kit from the original supplier. If it turns out to be the master cylinder, well I have got plenty of spares on hand!
