My dad had various Series 2/3's. A LWB, which he had about a month, Turing circle was shit, then got an Ex Securicor, SWB, complete with armour plating. Needed a clutch and gearbox. Nice and easy when you can take the floor out!
The rear arches are actually front arches grafted on to the rear tub.
Great old things to work on, currently got 3 chassis swaps on the go
with a 4th waiting to be started
