I would always put in a low offer, if you take it I have got a bargain....surely a scot would get that? I bought a car that was up for £15k for £10k in the past by just asking "what is the lowest you will take for a deal now?" I wasn't insulting, I had money and he wanted it, he had a car to sell and I wanted it.

One of my friends has made a lot of money just phoning sellers and putting in low but fair bids and then selling on for profit 3-6 months later, he does it on rolexes as well as super cars.
