Hey come into a few hiccups whilst building my zetec turbo thought Id ask for people's opinions on a remedy
First problem bolted on my turbo to the manifold yesterday and realised I have bugger all room for my actuator, I think I could cut the bracket and turn it so it points the actuator downwards towards the penny flap.pin but not sure if this will give full.movement to it??
So my other option would be to not do this and fit an external wastegate set up and weld up the wastegate penny... What are people thoughts to either way?
This picture was taken with the actuator touching the gearbox which obviously I can't do but hopefully you can see the wastegate pin (my finger is holding it shut)
Secondly my next problem.is I drilled the block for the oi return long before.my manifold was fabricated and low and behold the hole.in the block isnt low enough at all, now I can see a remedy get a tube welded to the top of the sump problem solved... Now what to do with the remaining hole in the block do I A block.it off or B try and plumb it into the breather system as a extra crank case vent?
All opinions are welcomed!
