Hi folks new to the site and looking to pick someone's brains. I'm looking at a project I might buy. It's a ford based kit car with a cortina type 3 box. There's no engine but I have a w plate 2 litre focus that has failed its mot but runs well. Will the zetec bolt onto he cotina box? I've had a good look around but mostly people are using a type 9. While this may be the preferred option I'd rather stick with the type 3 so I can to save money.
