I'm after some advice from guys who have done escort van conversion at the moment I have a 51 plate 1.8 endura engine non turbo its on its last legs to bloody slow body is really good with all gti exterior and interior bits so 1st option is to convert it to td can i get a td engine and fit it without any other changes or will I need to change loom ecu what's involved and how much better is it ? 2nd option is to convert to petrol now I know loom ecu tank would have to be changed if I got hold of a car could I use everything from that and would the tank and fuel lines be ok to use for the van I would I need to get hold of some petrol van ones and would a 1.8 petrol engine be good in a van or still slow vans only used for getting to work so no weight any help much appreciated
