Please dont start feeling sorry for the dealer you bought this from. You are the one who has been sold a van with its factory fitted from new ABS removed. If it is ok to remove it ( as some people have said ) why did the MOT station where you took it not just pass it and say nothing ? They obviously realised it is wrong and that is why they have written a report for you ( over a grand to fix it!!! ) and asked you to come and see the van. I would accept nothing less than either a full refund or a new ABS system fitted by a main dealer.
