My father in law bought a focus Cosworth with not much history in regards with spec. Engine has a Harvey Gibbs bill and meant to be good for 500bhp. T4 RS500 plenum 8 injectors ALS.
The gearbox is a dog box. It has a rubber breather pipe on top that is spilling oil on a drive.
But we want to know what gearbox it is. Any way of telling. Also rear diff has a slight oil weep. I measured across and it measures 9inch.
Also could they be wrong together. Reason I ask is while driving and pulling off it seems to be holding. Like brakes are on. Possibly wrong ratios. Not matching and winding up??
His other 4x4 sapph runs an oppliger Motorsport box and has no problems with.
