That kart looks like bloody good fun!! As for the wires quickly touch 2 together for a split second to see if ignition lights come on. If they do twist/join them together and arc out the other wire on them untill it starts. That way u know what wires to wire into the starter switch this is what we used to do back on the day with stolen cars
