Hello,

The problem now with std conrods is how much fatigue they have seen over the years as they are very old now.

Back in the 1990's when I started tuning them, I did push them to 240bhp and 7000rpm, and had the occasional failure at that level. Today, they simply wont take that power and rpm, Im afraid old age and fatigue has taken its toll!

As such we advise 200bhp and 6500rpm MAX with ARP rod bolts fitted. Simply isnt worth taking the risk above that power.
