All good stuff eh
Paul
I assume you mean this one Paul?
Basically, in that mode, I tell the dyno what revs it should allow the engine to accelerate to and then I map that area. When im done, I tell the dyno to allow a rev increase of the engine so i can map the next site.
James in this video just holds a steady throttle to control the load site. IE: James adjusts throttle a little to maintain between 7 and 9 psi of boost (5th red box along on the screen) while I also control the dyno in order to ensure the engine is stopped at the RPM site i want it at. So every time I press the up button, the dyno allows the engine to increase rpm by anything I want from 10rpm to 1000rpm. (Set to 100rpm in that video so 3 presses is 300rpm)
The load and RPM control on our dyno is truly awesome and makes mapping an absolute breeze.
