Ok I'm seeing what they have done then. When DJM built the car they built the front track for a standard puma or standard escort/seirra and also without the strut brace mounting plates either side (I'm assuming this is what you mean with the angled reinforcement Warren).
Then when the front arches were put on, for whatever reason the front strut tops were moved and angled further outwards and the plates added for the strut brace. The question I have is how accurately was this done? Judging by the TCA's probably not well!
I need to get out there and get some simple width measurements done. The back as far as I'm aware is completely standard to a escort/sierra which makes me wonder whether the front track is now wider than the back?!?!
