John. Thanks for all your advice about my wiring problems. My brother has spent all day tracing the wires in the loom to try and locate that elusive ballast resistor!! Couldn't find it as there isn't one fitted but managed to find a pink wire and used that to power the rev clock. Oil light problem was traced to a faulty wire picking up power (6-8 volts) which was enough to keep powering up the led light. Thanks for all your assistance during this very stressful time.
