John. Been trying to find any spare wires in the loom without any success at all, stripped it right back but couldn't find anything. Don't know what a ballast resistor even looks like so I'm at a loss as to where I go next. The new oil light is still staying on so I'll either just have to get an auto electrician to look at it or get a welder out to plate up the dash and fix the old 2 clock dash back in which didn't give me any trouble or stress at all,which ever is the cheapest option.
