Last May at Simply Ford day at Beaulieu I met a guy with a nice looking White RS500. On speaking to him he told me he had owned it for 12 years and it had done 103,000 miles. He used it regularly and told me he loves driving it.His choice but as he said he bought it to have fun in not as an investment. I must say I was impressed by his attitude.
I can beat that lol. My brother rang me mid last year as he had just done a windscreen on an e reg Sierra for an old guy. When he got there the guy told him it was an old car that he don't use much so he will get it out the barn! It was a black rs500 with factory option leather. My brother said it was a right state looked like it had never been cleaned! The guy had had it from new. Story was his company built a ford dealership and after he got two top of the range sierras at a discount price. The other he said was a white one which was his wife's but that got smashed up. Chris said he said to the guy do you know what that is and how much it's worth and the guy laughed and said his son keeps saying that but it's his car and not going any wear
