A lot of wealthy people are buying cars for investments only , they will be stored away, never driven and re-emerge in years to come with even higher prices. Others will become trailer queens to be seen a couple of times a year to pick up yet another trophy. In my opinion fast fords were built to be enjoyed and driven not to become money making museum exhibits.
Remember an RS500 is no long a fast car by todays standard. If I had one it would be stored away as an investment. Buy a Focus RS if you want to tank around. Even an old Saff like mine is not the car to blast around in on a daily basis its 25 years old & needs to be treated as such. If you are in a financial position that you can destroy an investment like an RS500 by all means do that but that's rather silly don't you think.
