Going to see a Cosworth hopefully in the next few days, Will be my first! I'm familiar with Sierras, But not with Cosworths.

It's a 1990 factory 2wd, It has a Green-Top engine? (Should it not be Red-Top?)

Also it's hard to get 2nd and 4th when coming down through the gears, New gearbox or simple fix?

What other common areas should be checked?
Also what VIN numbers should be there if it's a genuine 2WD Cosworth?
How do I tell whether the engine is original to car or replacement?
