I've ordered a DIN flare tool. The more I read into it the less convinced I was about doing a bodge.

On anything thing else a modified practice or a work round is fine in my books but I didn't want to take a risk on the brakes.

Just got to wait for the thing to get here now. The car is in bits all ready.
