Last year it was £628 (£718 for instalments) TPF&T, so although it came down by £60 this year, and I've got it down by another £122 by asking them to price match, it's still not what I'd be expecting to be paying at this stage of life and car driving... My mate is the same age as me, drives a similar car (Merc C180, bit less power and about the same age) with three points and still pays less then £500 for the past 5 or 6 years. Maybe it's my area, maybe it's because my occupation falls into the automotive industry, I dunno. But I don't even use it for commuting!
