The bearing on the O/S intermediate driveshaft is noisy and needs replacing on my 1999 2.5 ghiaX.

Can the bearing be removed and replaced or is it necessary to replace the shaft and bearing as an item?

If it can be replaced any advice as to how would be very gratefully received
