I would highly doubt a 2wd car unless it had amazing traction would match the 4wd time/distance at only 600 feet. That's less than 1/8th mile.
All traction limited cars will struggle over such a short distance.
Making the engine hold together is one thing, Aero is another. I wouldnt want to be holding a car for lengthy periods around 200 or more unless there was some reasonable certainty about their stability at those speeds.
I feel it's just different when it's still accelerating fairly hard, or decel ( which can be unstable itself )
But holding a car when it's accelerating very slowly at those sort of speeds is bound to make it more unstable.
agreed if that 135 mph at 600ft is correct there must be an advantage for rods saph to take the bend rather than standing start, 20 or more mph faster at the 1/8 mile mark must have a helping hand in final top speed surely ?
im not sure id want to stay flat out past the mile marker personally, if I topped 200 mph in a mile in the seat I think id call it quits and go change the nappy

lmao
Christ! 207 in a standing mile is rapid! Maybe yours would take it then? Either way both cars are epic.
with 150 mph potential in a 1/4 mile on stock gear ratios I think it seems easily achieveable to get to 207 mph with another 3/4 mile to go, ryan did 207 on v power so in theory I suppose it should do more than that now.
