There is a remote chance it had a delete option from new but I imagine the first owner would have recalled requesting that. Does not detract at all these days if it has been reshelled, its all about condition now and it looks a great example today.

In fact if it is a V86 spec group N motorsport shell then all the RS500 touring cars are built from the same ones so you have quite a valuable item itself in its own right now that they have rocketed in value, make a handy spare shell for one of the wealthy owners as the 909 ones are the wrong spec for them if they ever had a major off.
