Ye that's exacty what i'm going to do over winter get a trickle chargers and put an Anderson connector on so I can just plug it into the front of the car without even lifting the bonnet.

That's basically what I've got, just a Halfords trickle charger, with a small two pin plug coming through the grill...
Could be worth looking into, I'd like to put it in the boot... Not that I trust myself not to fuck up the wiring!?
