Thanks all for the input. One thing I have established is that because I only do Sprints and Hillclimbs which vary in duration from Brighton Speed Trials at 12 seconds to Goodwood at 94 seconds, my intercooler at best will only start working on a longer run (Goodwood)
and prbably does very little to cool it on the other Sprints and Hillclimbs that are all under one minute duration !
Anyway I have decided to have my T3 upgraded keeping my .48 housing plus a better boost control and new chip and then get it mapped, and see where we are then.
I am also looking at Sequential Gearboxes! Elite have had problems in the past but recon they have beefed up the parts that were weak (Gears and dog rings etc) There 300 box is attractive to me but only if its going to be reliable. For what I do the box wont have to work hard except for high powered starts to get clean of the line. Anyone had any recent experience of this box?
