What gearbox you going to use? What rad and intercooler?
Focus RS I think mate.
Rads are already in, they are custom ones behind each rear arch but they are a bit manky so I will be replacing them with something suitable.. Not sure on the intercooler but it's decent quality and suitable size.
It was over engineered for the current setup (mocal oil coolers etc). Will post some pictures of it all in the next week or so when I start stripping it down.

A bit of background:

This is how it was/is (although I have done a lot of new wiring on it and put hydraulic struts on the doors, it is mainly stuff that isn't visible)

In the flesh people generally love it... in pictures some love it , some hate it But I love it and always have since I test drove one years ago when I couldn't afford to build it hence why I bought it as a project.

It is currently running a 1.8 silvertop zetec with a turbo conversion on it.
It was dynoed at 240hp on dyno dynamics. I have no idea how as they map on the ecu is not very efficient by all accounts (ahmed bayjoo sorted me a new Pectel T2 when the other one cooked itself).

Anyway, I am basically ripping it all out and starting again, new engine bay loom (I have done the rest of the car), new proper fusebox and relay setup.

Strip the suspension and shotblast, powder coat and replace as required.

I have new wheels to go on it, some billet image split rims I bought ages ago and am going to get polished before they are on.

The engine setup is effectively the same layout as they current one.

The sump should work as its only the same as it what it runs now.

Dry sump is an option I may do but I have already blasted my budget to get to this stage so another £2000?? is not really that tempting. I will be running an oil pressure alarm and if I do blow the engine I will rebuild it with a dry sump

Unless anyone is selling a kit second hand??

Gearbox is currently a ford diesel one. I am going to fit a Focus RS one and suitable clutch, and then get the (right hand) gearchange linkage modified as required.

I'm sure there's a tonne of obstacles on the way. One of them being the exhaust manifold may not quite fit when on the engine, and I may need to get a custom one (crazy cage..!)
