Some very good pointers there lads about the opliger gear kit as I'v had one in my hands only last week as my mate Rex is putting one in his escort . Don't get me rong lads I would love to just do the bolt and play way but I just don't have the ££ to had with this devors
Not to be nasty, but if you think you can achieve a skyline transmission conversion for a grand, I suggest you really sit down and think about it more.
Like Rog says you wont do it for 1k even if you do the work ! Yes on paper costing it might look like that but it wont happen but I can see your predicament but personally I would wait until you get some more funds
