Will they clear when the piston comes out and pulls the caliper in? should give an extra 5mm at least
I reckon that's the answer
Due to the pads being new and therefore thicker, the caliper is sitting further out towards the wheel. Hopefully once the pedal is pressed it will bring the caliper a bit closer in.
