As per title. How many folks have had their original blue coated bolts zinc plated and gold passivated? Has anyone ever had a problem with them snapping due to brittleness caused by the process?
I am tidying up my suspension and have considered getting it done but the Sierra RS workshop manual says "mechanical coating only" which rules out any plating.
