Default 2.0 zetec into diesel escort?

just toying with this at the moment,

i have just recently purchased and 2001 mk6 escort 1.8 non turbo van. its done genuine 32000 miles, nice clean body with no rot. just need a bet of tlc to get the shine back.

thing is i have a 1996 2.0 silver top zetec Mondeo that it replacing. the body work and interior are shot as it was used as a builders van befor i got it, so it not worth selling and it is going to the brakers yard when i have done with it.

question is, not really being a fan of diesels and wanting the van to be a little different from the norm how easy would it be and what would i need to get the engine fitted and running in to the van.

i have the engine, mtx75 gear box and the wiring loom/ecu from the Mondeo.

i know need escort engine mounts because they are totally different but would the Mondeo drive shafts be any good?
(i would assume i need drive shaft because the Mondeo is wider than the escort but just want conformation )

has anyone got a wiring diagram for the loom/ecu. and has anyone fitted disks to the rear of a van befor?

thanks in advance nick.
