It's a wired noise it's only when turning left, theres a knocking almost like the whole wheel is knocking then you get a grinding/rubbing noise. I've checked ball joints and at first thought strut tops weren't seated properly an something was in contact but they seem fine too.
I'm a bit lost now.
To me it sounds like a problem with the C/V joint, typically when they are faulty you will only get the noise when you turn left or right as that is when the most load is put on the joint. Process of elimination , double check everything you have disturbed and I am sure you will find what it is. Good luck.
