Normal pressures will depend on load, ie tyres, grip, usage etc. Applying fully lock can raise pressure substantially over normal working pressures too.

So even if normal is around 1000psi, it could see a lot higher on full lock.

Just be sure whatever hose and fittings used is 100% safe for the application, as it's probably the highest pressure lines in any car
