I have always had an agreed value on my 2wd Sapphire for the last 19 years, every 2 years I increase the amount as what you have to think is what would it REALLY cost to replace it to the same specification as it is now. Shop around until you find an insurer who will give you a proper agreed value.
Mine is £21,000 but it would probably cost more than that in real terms if it was stolen or written off.
