I remember the old 1.8d that smashed the cams, upright valves pushed the load straight onto the cam!!
I hope this won't want the head off !! I'm more annoyed that there's no info on autodata or little online re the wet belt. The belt itself has NO interval yet it's a belt. It's in terrible order, hence stripping the teeth.
Oh, and don't get me started on free wheeling pulleys !! Why can't manufactures fit key ways ?? I tried to buy an 'any car' timing tool set from snap on...£1500 + vat !! I'll have 2 sets please...
