well that settled it, after reading the relies and wanting to save a good tank that doenst cut out on roundabouts, used wire brush to remove surface rust and kurst it.

I'm currently paining the underside, i have stainless steel fuel lines, will be replacing all the brake lines, got stainless steel rear pipes, will save the tank, replace fuel rubber, just struggling to get the wishbones and compensators off, they are quite rusty,
