I've got a 2002 mk6 fiesta 1.4, the speedo and odo do not work, odo just shows a row of ------
All other guages work fine and car still drives fine no warning lights or fault codes either
I've changed the vss and still the same,

I've done a bit of research and come up with various results' some say it will start working again after about 5-10 miles of driving ( not taxed or insured at moment so can't try this)
Others say its a fault on the dash unit and this needs programming by ford as it linked to the immobiliser, others say it could be the PCM at fault.

Obviously its an old cheap runabout so not worth spending loads on' has anyone ever had this problem and fixed it??
