If i do that i will end up with more lock in one direction than the other...
the problem is the the rack hits the stops. i get 2.5 turns lock to lock, so 1.25 each way. if the rack isnt in the centre when the steering wheel and wheels are pointing forwards, i will end up with say 1 turn one way and 1.5 the other, its not going to make much difference really, apart from the steering wheel self cancel won't line up.
