Any advice?
I've got a 52 place Zetec TDCi (well I had one, the injectors have gone on it) I've had it about 6-7 years and its had 2 starter motors and a new fly wheel (changed with the first starter motor) I'ts just been parked up and I've done nothing with it. So I then moved onto my hubby's Ghia 2.0 petrol Estate (I think that's an 02 plate) and guess what - I didn't check the oil and the engine is knackered on that now so I'm left car-less.
Looking at other cars but I'm drawn back to the Mondeo as I do love it especially for the heated front window in the winter! I'm looking at getting something with cruise control on now as well as I can do a bit of motorway driving around the UK
Everyone who I've spoken to have said that the diesel injectors are prone to go and the dust from the flywheel breaks the starter motors - is this something that has happened to others or am I just unlucky? Is it worth getting the injectors sorted and/or a new engine in the ghia.
Finally has anyone encountered these problems on the newer model mondeos?
(no sarky comments about women drivers please lol)
