a bigger housing wont feel as punchy but it will be faster in the real world, a t3/t34 on a 0.48 will fall on its face top revs badly ime ive had both on saphs. does anyone have any comparable dyno plots to show the gains/losses ?

as an example I have a plot from a 2.6 with a gt40 going from a 0.84 a/r upto a 1.06 a/r at the same boost and the difference was huge !

that gtr didn't feel as punchy low down but it was faster, a lot faster ie 30 - 130 was about 1.5 seconds faster !

I don't see the importance of the big punchy feel in mid revs, whats the use of that if it falls on its arse above 5000 rpm imo, when pushing hard through the gears you will constantly be above 5000 rpm and the motor is being strangled to death.
