Basically u need the special tool from newmans , I done it the long way 1 at a time I got the lobe at the top with tappet out marked my cam pulley with chalk then rotated the engine over 180 degrees ,untill the cam lobe was at it's lowest point . Then retourque the rocker nut back on to 21fbt then measure the gap . And then alter to 10tho on the exhaust side and 8thou on inlet . The locking nuts have to be done ft!! Took me about 3 hours ! First time I've done them and there tedious to be honest ! U have to keep putting them in and out and re tourquing the rocker nut to the same setting untill you have the required gap 😁👍now it doesn't sound like a tractor also not saying I could make them better but IMO the lock nuts are a bad design as there just dying to come loose !!!!
