I will be out doing the van tomorrow looking for that darn pin hole...Its amazing because the radiator is out and i have a full view of the front of the block and still cannot see the 10mm plug to remove

It has been at least ten years since I did a set of belt on one of those so the memory is a bit foggy.

From what I remember though, you won't find a pin hole on the block!

You lock the cam and the pump by inserting pins through the sprockets as far as I can remember. (Cam sprocket and pump sprocket respectively).

Also mark the crank position once the outer pulley is off as (from vague memory) that doesn't lock.

I cannot comment on the plastic pulleys but do remember getting a set of metal ones for mine back in the day.... must have been 12-13 years ago now, not 10. Maybe they have improved the quality.
