Update

I have now installed a new adjustable fpr which i am now getting fuel from the return line, however the engine still will not run with the fuel pump on.

I have also changes the plugs but they are comming out very black after the enginehas been running without the fuel pump on.

Any thoughts?
Is there any reason the injectors could be permanently open or when the pump is on causing some kind of short even though the pump itself will work?

Im beggining to lose hope of it being ready for ford fair now so any help appreciated.
