If you are new to running I'd seriously recommend getting fitted for shoes or you could have all sorts of dramas. I know I did when I first started running. I've used all sorts of shoes ranging from £25 to £130 and every shoe fits, feels and reacts differently. I used to always say never buy cheap running shoes, however, I ran most the season of the British Army Cross Country Championships in New Balance 789's from Sport Direct which were £25 rather than my £100+ Adidas and they were brilliant. My Adidas Adizero Pro 4 are mega, so comfy and light, but they wore out so fast. I only wear them on track now for sprinting.
