we got my son a pair of ascics last year, couldn't believe how light they were compared to "normal" trainers, plenty of cushioing, not worn out even though he's worn them for the past 10 months or so, and they were CHEAP at £13.50 for the pair on offer (were £17) and i must say that even though they look like a teenagers wet dream, they are as a product really really good

ok, so maybe the adult versions won't be as good, but it's worth a look
