So I needed to replace the connector to my fuel filter on my Escos.

It's an elbow barb connector into a plastic (I assume Nylon) fuel line.

The fuel line is very stiff and I can't get the elbow's barbs the whole way into it.

I've tried the heat the fuel line with boiling water method multiple times, no luck.

I've looked online for a tool to help with this, but this tool only seems to be sold in the US - (It's a Dorman tool)

Surely it can't be that hard to fit one of these? Has anyone else got any tips onto how to do this? Is there a tool in the UK to do this?

Any advice greatly appreciated as I've wasted most of this weekend trying to get this on!
