Default oil

yes-its great,i am a late convert to this but have now used it on a variety of cars
however i need to be sure i empty the sump-heres why

the cossie i have is a 2wd with 200 block but the stick is the one with the round plastic end..i dont know what dipstick tube has been used either
at the moment the sump has been overfilled-on the stick anyway[by almost the same amount of measure as is on it-if accurate maybe as much as 1.5 litres]
now-having had a disaster years ago[about 18 lol] with a newly bought converted[2wd-to 4wd car as was the fashion then] which showed full on stick due to wrong parts used but in reality only had about 2.5 litres in it when i cornered enthusiastically it ran the crank
i suppose i will just need to warm it up and drain it off-replacing it with around 4.5 litres -then see what it reads on the stick and mark it..was just wondering if the suction method completely emptied it -i suppose i could suction then remove plug to see whats left
